The youngest Pakistani singer to have garnered more than 100 Million views on a song on Youtube has recently posted his debut Bollywood song and in a matter of just two days, it is trending at number 3 on Youtube with more than a million views.

What saddens his fans across the world is that he was never credited for the song he composed. Humraah from the movie Malang is originally composed by Asim Azhar but due to the tensions between both countries, the makers decided to not only get it recorded by another singer but also blatantly refrained from mentioning his name as the composer.

However, Asim stayed positive and decided to release the original rendition of the song on Eid-Ul-Fitr. Owing to the spectacular success of the song, he wrote, “When I made this melody 3 years ago on a random night at my studio in Karachi, never did I think it would be given so much love…thank you so much. God is the best planner.”

Without any support from the makers of the movie or any label for that matter, the singer managed to grab such a tremendous response with his sheer dedication and soulful voice. “No push, no label, organic, independent,” he wrote.

Recently, Asim Azhar has become the fourth Pakistani singer to have crossed 100 Million views on Youtube. The 100 Million club includes Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Momina Mustehsan.

Albeit being an extensively popular young songster, Asim Azhar is an owner of a happy-go-lucky and ebullient personification. Be it some random people or the stars from the Pakistani media fraternity, he is capable of bringing smiles on the faces of all the people he meets.
