With more than 4 million views in just five days, the Pehla Sa Episode (first episode) of Pehli Si Muhabbat is trending on Youtube across Pakistan for all the right reasons.

Pehli Si Muhabbat opens into a closely-knit neighborhood in Hyderabad. Rakshi is making a traditional dessert (Halwa) for her father. As soon as she realizes she does not have sugar, she goes to the neighboring Ishrat to borrow some.

The next scene delineates a cute story about first cousins Bushra and Aslam and how the former starts blushing all of a sudden when she is told they will marry in the near future. Living in the big city with his granny, Aslam is a BA student and he does not want to go back. However, his elder brother Akram and his mother insist he should not stay around Bushra as they are about to be soulmates.

Back in Hyderabad Rakshi is shocked and apparently hurt when her father comes home with Nargis, her step-mother. Nargis is deemed a bad influence by the neighbors but Akram does not believe anyone at first, not even his mother or wife. However, he gets furious when he hears the truth directly from Faizullah.

Driven by anger, Akram and other neighbors go to Faizullah’s house to talk to him once and for all. Little did they know he is not home, so his newlywed bride comes to the door to angrily ask them to stop banging the door. After a heated exchange between Nargis and Akram, neighbors, full of rage, started to throw stones inside the house.

Albeit being younger than many present at the scene, Aslam keeps telling them to tone-down a little and that he will go from the roof to see if the women are right about Faizullah not being home or not. To his surprise, the girl whose weeping he had heard the other night is standing right in front of him, engulfed in fear and sorrow. He holds her and requests her to calm down with harmony in his actions. In return, with a worry in her voice, she asks him to use the back door to leave in order to stay away from her father’s vision.

With love oozing out of the scene where Aslam and Rakshi are together, Pehli Si Muhabbat is being admired across social media.
