Pakistani Band 'Soch' entered Bollywood
Pakistan and India are finally joining hands, not through our political circumstances but our Pakistani artists from the entertainment industries are. Lately Pakistani artists like Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam and Rateh Fateh Ali Khan are a part of the Bollywood industry so to join their league are Rabi Ahmed and Adnan Dhool from 'Soch'. Rabi and Adnan have contributed their song 'Awari' for the Bollywood movie 'Ek Villian' by Mohit Suri. We at ARY Digital had a small chit chat with 'The Soch Band' to let you all know about their experience. Tell us something about your band? Why did you name it 'Soch'? Rabi: "7 years ago, Adnan was looking for a session player for a concert. That is when I met him. We played for the concert, after that I met Adnan on and off. 'Humshakals': Movie Review
Starring: Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nawwab Shah, Esha Gupta and Ram Kapoor. Directed and written by: Sajid Khan Pakistanis are hungry for Bollywood movies and having a comic genre always attracts the audiences to watch it. But lame comedy is very difficult to poke one to laugh on, and when the director has delivered a pure disaster in the past director Sajid Khan has learnt to crack jokes on him-self. There was a scene where the mental asylum's warden decides to torture the patients by making them watch Sajid Khan's own 'Himmatwala' can you imagine someone making fun of own-self. In the end credits also again they take out the DVD of Sajid's sister Farah Khan's 'Tees Maar Khan' to use it as a source of torture. This means that the director is well aware of his previous tortures then why did he add a new movie to his pack, 'Humshakals' is an equal torture like the previous releases. We worship Him and we get our blessings in the form of rewards, there are some occasions where His followers get soft heart and seem spiritually involved. One such occasion is Shab-e-Baraat which is the night of salvation that takes place in mid-Shaban (between the 14th and 15th day of Shaban). This is one of the blessed nights in the Islamic calendar. Pakistani Cinema is back with a bang!
Once known for its quality work, Pakistani cinema was lost in time and remained in dark ages for quite long. Pakistani cinema Lollywood has produced many magnificent actors of its time film star such as Mohammad Ali and Waheed Murad, who can easily be counted in are considered the veterans of the industry. Later with passage of time the shining light of this industry got dimmed. During the golden days of Pakistani cinema, the Lollywood industry produced more than 200 films annually. Today, it's just one-fifth of what it used to be in the 70s and 80s. The Federal Bureau of Statistics shows that once the country boasted of having at least 700 cinemas operating in the country; however, this number has dwindled down to less than 170.
